I think it is important to note that the Manydown Land/BAS098 covers a very wide area - it is made up of far more than just the fields adjacent to Roman Road.
For those who need a bit of orientating - On the map I have
-- crudely 'blobbed' out in red the fields next to Roman Road
-- pointed to Worting, which does include a conservation area & has various parcels of land featuring in the SHLAA but not allocated as BDBC see these better suited to inclusion in a western MDA?!
-- Pack Lane which runs from Oakley to Basingstoke and across the Five Ways junction on Buckskin Lane/Kempshott Lane
-- The Village of Oakley - From this map their concerns over 'Oakleystoke' can be appreciated
